The house is located in the village of Repino Park, one of the most picturesque areas of the Leningrad region. The site is overgrown with ship pines, blueberries and rare shrubs. The house should fit into the landscape with minimal interference with the existing nature. For this purpose, the premises of the house were divided into separate functional blocks — the master’s house with a living room and kitchen, a house for children or guests, a separate study, a sauna and a carport— all united by a common covered translucent terrace, thus that each block of the house can function independently. To preserve the vegetation cover, in addition to dividing the functions, the house was raised above the ground on steel piles with a concrete base (except for a carport). The facade is lined with concrete tiles imitating hand-made crossbar bricks.
